1994 mercury capri convertable. where is the fuse box located on this vehicle? need to check fuse for accessory cig lighter etc...

SOURCE: lighter stopped working,

The Cigarette lighter is run off of a 20A fuse located in the engine compartment just behind the battery. The fuse map will say P-Out and is in position #14. Hope that helps.

SOURCE: cig lighter wont work

try getting a new lighter. if it is a fuse, it would be labeled on the cover to the fusebox. it is also common for the wiring itself which leads to the cigarette lighter to burn out.

Cigar lighter fuse location
The Cig. lighter fuse is located in the fuse box inside the vehicle to the left of the sterring wheel by the brake pedal. It is in the number 25 position and should be a yellow colored 20 amp fuse (see picture below). This should be in your owners manua if you have one. There should be a fuse panel inside the vehicle which controls this. Check your owners manual for exact location.
Usually the cig lighter and other accessories are on one circuit.

Volume problem on odyseey
Check the following fuses. Fuse No. 8 (7.5A) in driver's side kick panel fuse box. Fuse No. 9 (15A) in passenger's side kick panel fuse box. Fuse No. 11 (10A) in passenger's side kick panel fuse box. All these fuses need to be good in order for the audio unit to work. Also check the power sockets (cig lighter) for power. If the fuses are good but no power to cig lighters then the accessory power socket relay is bad. Its located in the passenger side kick panel fuse box.

Need to replace the fuse for the cigarette lighter
I dont happen to have one of those diagrams, but if you pull the fuses one by one and replace the burnt ones you should be able to 1.) Identify what item is on what circuit (for the most part) and 2.) solve your original problem with your cigarette lighter. Hope this gives you some direction. Thanks for Using FixYa!
