there should be a decal under the hood somewhere that shows the belt routing. if its gone you can probably go to the library and find a book of your car that will show the routing and you can either draw a picture or take a photo of it.
this vehicle should have a spring loaded tensioning pulley that you use a wrench or breaker bar in a square slot in pulley's arm. It should be marked on a diagram somewhere in the engine compartment showing the belt routing...
look around under the hood , on the underside of the hood, sometimes the belt routing diagram is on a sticker also check a Chiltons Manual sold at auto pARTS STOReS or on the web
You are correct. If you remove the washer and coolant reservoir you gain quite a bit of room, but the belt routing makes it mandatory you remove the top front motor mount to install a new belt. Just support the front of the motor with a floor jack and remove the upper mounting bolts.
Generally there is a sticker under the hood, showing belt routing. If not, get a cheap (usually under $20) manual... not only will you learn belt routing, but tips on tensioner adjustment, necessary to replace belt. Even a cheap manual includes lots of stuff you may need to know in the future!
