Question about Mazda MAZDA3
Check the weather trim along the trunk opening to make sure it is in good shape and properly fasten to the trunk.then check the trunk floor for a rotted out section(remove the trunk carpet)check the wheel well were the body of the car contacts the wheel well seam for areas that are not sealed.you may have to use a strong light to check areas to find any open area by shining the light from the outside in.there is also a plug that is in the floor of the trunk that is used to drain any liquid out by removing it,check and make sure it is in properly.if you find an area,you can seal it with either stone guard or roofing tar that gets hard when cured.
