Check your temp control valve, it's located on the left side of radiator , it has several hoses connected to it .

SOURCE: my 2004 lincoln ls air conditioner is blowing hot

Your issues can not be answered easily or definitively, as the LS is very complex and all electronic.
I would need the stored codes, that set the check light (MIL Light)
You can cycle the right dash display to ACFilter and Reset, with the top row of buttons,in center of dash. There is no sensor on the Cabin Filter. All the dash displays, are just reminders, you can set any way you want, % wise.

Possible issues--Fuses
-- Coolant control valve
--DATC module

You will need a really good Technician, not a general mechanic, to diagnose your problem
You need to put a professional scanner on it, to start any diagnostic work

My 2004 lincoln ls air conditioner is blowing hot air. The ac filter light is on and so is the check engine light. Please help. What could be the problem? Does the system just need to be charged?

2004 lincoln ls ac blowing hot air hotter on one side ac running

Your issues can only be solved with the use of a Scanner and Diagnostic Trouble Charts and System Charts.
Everything is Electronic and complicated. I just looked at my LS Shop Manuals.
I would prefer you went to a local shop, but you could go to a dealer.
Without a Data Base some shops subscribe to,they won't repair this vehicle,it is way too high tech
I own a 2004 V8.

IT BLOWS HOT AIR WHEN AC IS ON EVEN WHEN ITS COLD OUTSIDE

This might sound stupid but do you have the temperature control on hot? Sounds like your ac may need to be recharged.

Heat blows out driver vent when ac on

this problem is caused by a defective air temperature control blend door actuator motor, it is about center of dadsh in air ducting, it moves the door that diverts air for cold from ac or hot from heater, you must remove the dash to repace it, about a 15 hour job fotr a home mechanic with a factory repair manual, nearly imposs without one.

Lincoln ls is blowing hot air in stead of cold

the system may need recharging, goto pepboys and pick up a recharge kit, and give that a shot, just make sure that the bottle of recharger has dye in it, that way if it doesnt work for you , you can check the car with a black light for leaks... before you put the dye and recharge in, turn the air cond. on full in the car with it running, and listen for the clutch to engage on the compressor, at teh front of the engine, if you do not hear clicking to engage it then the conpressor will need to be replaced. do this first. rate this also please. thank you god bless

2002 Lincoln LS V6. AC blowing hot air but sometimes it works fine and blows cool. Is it a sensor problem?

its probably the compressor cutoff switch cutting your compressor off at the wrong time and causing your ac to blow hot. that switch is under your hood right on top of the engine easy to get to. I hope that helps you out!

I HAVE A 2004 LINCOLN LS V8 NO AC BLOWS HOT AIR ONLY AC HAS REFRIG.

I recently had the same problem with my ls. I had to remove the drivers side front tire and behind the tire arm there is the low connector valve that is attached to the compressor- take off the tiny cap and connect the can of refrigerant. Kragen has cans with the valve attached- just follow directions- My air works perfectly now- and it cost under $25 to repair it!
