I have the exact same problem too. It comes on when I make a left-hand turn. I just had my brakes replaced in May.

I have this problem as well. Las time it was when I would turn it would come on, my dad checked my breaks and they were almost bare. This was less than 8 months ago and guess what - - it started coming on around the corners and now stays on most of the time, my dad checked my breaks and they are wore again. He said I have a lot of break dust on my wheels so something is not right. Anyway, if it is coming on, you might want to check your actual breaks - there may or may not be a problem :)

Mine started blinking and now stays on all the time. The brakes
seem to work fine but I'm wondering if the master cylinder is
defective. Is there a method to check the MC?

Same problem. 2000 Caravan brake light goes off and on. Sometimes when turning, sometimes after applying the brakes. Havent checked the brakes yet, but they seem to work fine and had new ones done aprox 20,000 miles ago.

i have the same problem too,
i changed my break pads yesterday, didn't have time to test it,

Have a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan. Occasionally, and usually when it is cold, my dashboard brake indicator light will come on and then go out after a few seconds. It will happen when I am driving and not necessarily when I am stepping on the brakes. The fluid is full. What does this mean?

Check the level of your brake fluid or your brake pads may be worn down and time to have them checked out.

Hand break light coming on with out using hand break

The cable tightness is loose therefore causing the light to come on while driving, tighten or replace the eb cable hope that helps or you need to push in the button on it hold the button and pull it back as far as you can. let go then push button pull back farther and release, this should tighten the tension.

How to reset brake warning light on a 83 gmc

if its a low brake fluid situation that is turning on the light then make sure the fluid level is correct. if its full then the proportioning valve may have to be centred if it move too far in one direction. to do this you bleed the brakes to move the valve to the centre position. if this won`t work then tap the valve while bleeding it should unstick the valve. check the e-brake as it could have moved just enough to turn on the brake light indicating the e-brake is on, as there is a switch for this on the e-brake pedal, make sure its in the full off position(pedal is up all the way).

Brake light flashes on the dash occasionally. Primarily after a stop when the car moves again.

I have the same year car, first check the brake fluid level, (under the hood driverside in the back behind the coolant resivoir). If it is full check the E-brake because since it is a foot brake you can strech the wire and when you stop and go, the wire moves now and light is triggerd...

Brake light flickers while driving down the road.

Check the brake fluid. It may be just low enough to occasionally turn the light on as you hit bumps and it sloshes a little. Add a little brake fluid to the reservoir and check the brake pads all around.

Occasionally the right turn signal light turns on when braking

Sound's like their is a problem with the right hand rear light cluster. The reason it only happen's going down a hill is you applying the brake. The only place the brake and indicator light's come together is the rear clusted. To check this apply the hand brake gently with the button held in instead of useing the foot brake. This may not be the fault but it is worth a try as it seems the most likely problem.

Emergency brake light comes on occasionally but does not stay on

I would check the brake fluid level in the master cylinder, if the level is too low it will lower the float in the master cylinder and turn on the brake light on the dashboard, especially if it is an occassional occurance. Hope this helps
