Why does the brake light indicator turn on occasionally?

I have this problem as well. Las time it was when I would turn it would come on, my dad checked my breaks and they were almost bare. This was less than 8 months ago and guess what - - it started coming on around the corners and now stays on most of the time, my dad checked my breaks and they are wore again. He said I have a lot of break dust on my wheels so something is not right. Anyway, if it is coming on, you might want to check your actual breaks - there may or may not be a problem :) I have this problem as well. Same problem. 2000 Caravan brake light goes off and on. Sometimes when turning, sometimes after applying the brakes. i have the same problem too,
i changed my break pads yesterday, didn't have time to test it,
but i noticed fluid leaking from the rear cylinder

i will get back to you on that if i found the solution
