My 2007 BMW 650i remote key works sometimes. How do I re-charge my key remote?

Connect it to connector in engine compartment.

Oil separator on side of engine, about $65 plus hoses and labor.

is there a button on the dash to make it come up and down if not its either a cable problem or a motor problem but possibley just the remote key need replacing do you not have a spair key fob to try hope this helps ivan

If no codes are set, run some tests. Fuel pressure? when failing do you still have nice fat blue spark at plugs (don't check this by holding wire near a ground as this could damage elect. system)? What do you do to get it to start?

Please change oil in trasmission and diferential soon.

If it is not a remote problem, you might check and see if it is a chip in the key. Some models have them and you need a new key if the remote is not the problem. Dealer item only...

It is in the trunk in front of the battery. It is fuse number 87

block wheel on opposing side to avoid rolling.loosen lug bolts on wheel using lug wrench. donot completely remove nuts. place jack at designated position on side of car. diagram should be on spare cover in trunk under carpet along with the appropriate tools.raise vehicle with jack just high enough to clear ground. remove nuts and flat tire and replace with spare. tightened lug nuts and lower jack. check nuts again for tightness.
