The EXACT same signal light problem started on my 07 Ford Fusion yesterday. Had to pull the right bulb to save the battery last night. Which is why I'm on here: Ford dealer wants $99/hr to diagnose... my family can't eat mac and cheese for a month. The solutions so far don't seem too confident. Any luck?
Find a new dealer. I bet your turn signal switch messed up, and as your radio goes its not just a light but a led board. its possible to have a radio repair shop fix as it could just be a small diode needing replaced for the power to board. My face plate does not light either but it still works fine for my presets and stuff.
The light on the radio is a lcd type and no doubt soldered into the circuit board so its easier for the garage to change it than repair it ,no doubt only employ unit changers and not proper mechanics but the indicators is i would imagine just a faulty stalk switch and i would test it with my multimeter first before saying its a loom problem and no doubt teh unit changers cannot find the fault by plugging it in so they do not know what to look for to change it ,as for the light on the radio ,well if you take it apart then no doubt you could change the lcd bulb yourself with a small soldering iron
