Question edited for a lot more clarity. It took me fully a minute to work out 'nissan pu'. Full 'year make model' in all question please, and no abbreviations.
Your labor would be the same on replacing either one, You should replace the bearing and clutch at the same time.If a shop is doing it you should be looking at 4-5 hours of labor as trans has to be dropped. expect to pay 600-700 for repair if thats all it needs.
Common when the clutch has gone out. Those are usually not serviceable. Replace the compressor unit, they almost always come with a new clutch/pully fully assembled. It will be recommended you replace the evaporator and accumulator tube for your warranty on the new compressor. Total cost on parts with R134 recharge kit is usually around $300. Not too bad of a do-it-yourself job.
There is a small bypass hose for the thermostat. Are you asking how to do a complete flush? If you want to make sure you get all the coolant out there is a 14mm drain plug on the left side of the engine block that will allow all the coolant to drain. It is tough to get to without the right tools. Make sure you remove the small bleeder screw on the thermostat housing when refilling so all the air is purged from the system.
