There is a bad connection , check that the battery posts and terminals are shiny clean, check the ends of the battery terminals are clean and tight, one will go to the starter and the other to ground, some engines have a earth strap connecting the engine to the frame make sure it is tight. check the battery is fully charged.
Have someone turn key and you grab the battery cables and twist/ wiggle them and also pull upward on positive cable going to starter to see if it makes a better contact to start truck. I dont know who or how the starter got tested but normally if the starter just clicks it is either not enough power going to starter motor, or the starter selonoid is bad, or the starter motor is bad. so double check all cables and cable ends, and all cable contacting points. check battery for tight posts and connections.
STARTER PROBLEMS
It
can be faulty starter or there is loose connection from battery to starter. The
starter assembly gets power from battery. Check voltages at starter wires and
see if you are getting 12 volts or not. If not then its no power issue due to
low battery volt or no connection between battery to starter.
