Is there an easy way to turn the pulleys so that the hole in the pulley lines up with the bolt and we can get to it?
I mean the P/S Pump pulley.
You can use a ratchet and socket to turn the crankshaft bolt. This will turn all the pulleys. Also, you may be able to remove the belt without loosening bolt A, unless it is really tight.
what is the name for bolt d and also for the little "mounting piece" that bolt b goes into? (not the big boomerang shaped bracket, but the smaller one).We need to replace these and im not sure what to ask for. thanks!

I just changed a freinds alt. on her 2001 spectra.. if i remember correctly i loosened 3 bolts up on the top pulley ( ps pump) i even had to get creative and put my socket thru the hole on the ps pump belt wheel. That was the third bolt. and that knocked it loose.
Alternator was fairly easy to swivel around .. loosened 2 or 3 bolts and it swiveled easily. So i loosened 5 or 6 bolts total. and they were NOT easy to get loose.
