Thanks for choosing FixYa Anthony for your automotive needs. You have said that your car shuts off at a slow speed. You need to start by checking your fuel pressure. You may have a fuel pump going bad, a clogged fuel filter, or perhaps a leaking fuel injector. You might want to check your PCV valve if the car is dieing on turns. You may be hearing a whistle sound if this is the case. Is your car running and starting correct?

Window will not roll up on 2003 GMC Yukon Denali AWD

there are cables inside of the window assembly that are connected to a pully on the window motor. it could be that the wires are tangled. it might need a new regulator, i think the motor would be fine.

My 2002 mitsubishi galant stalled while driving yesterday. it does have 196,000 miles, but it had been running very smooth since i got the car. I came up to a stop sign and went to pull out onto the...

if it broke a timing belt or chain it would roll alot faster than normal.. if it just jumped time a notch or two it would still act like it was trying to start.. a chrankshaft sensor is a place to start.. but check to see if its firing first before you replace it because it could be the fuel also.. take a sparkplug out of the car and then plug it on the wire.. take an good insulated pair of pliers and hold the part of the spark plug that your socket goes on against a metal part of your motor.. then have someone roll the vehicle over while you watch the spark plug you can see the spark ti generates if vehicle is firing..if it is firing good then its probably in the fuel system.. hope this helps

I have a 99 chevrolet blazer LS it was running fine the drivers side window rolled down but rolled back up extremely slow when i shut it off it wouldnt re-start the battery was dead so i jumped it and it...

that is one grimlin that is pretty well cornered your ignition switch is command central for all you listed that was not working properly inside the barrel of your ignition are the contact pins that supplies power to everything that requires power that why when you turn ignition off everything shut down so your battery does not die out .i would say that there is a 99% chance that your ignition is shot.

Car shut down complete..wont turn back on.

If cars shut down dead completly and no lights on dashboard, or emergency blinkers would come on at all, then it's your battery. It's drained completly from leaving something on like lights.. etc. If you were driving and then you stopped and turn your engine off, and then when turning engine back on and you get nothing compleltly... thens it's a faulty connection, check your positive connection if it's connected tight and securely and free from acid corrision built up from the battery terminal or the clamping itself. Check your negative connection to see if it's seated and securely tighten to the battery terminal and has secure contact to a grounding part. Also check your postive/negative wirings that connected to the battery to see if it broken/torn. If any of these is presented, then correct it. Should work, and now if you do get lights on your dashboard/ but dimmed when attempting to start and engine slow to roll over or no roll over followed by clicks, then your battery drained and doesn't havn't the requirng crank amp needed to start the engine. If battery good and car won't start. Please described what you hear and what you do, so we can help you better.

1999 chevy silverado 2500.6.0 l.if truck sits all week sometimes it rolls over slow and wont start.sometimes it will start.new battery starter and alternator is good.if truck does roll slow then starts...

2 things come to mind, first check and clean all battery and starter connections. second, maybe you have something draining the battery. next time it rolls slow, put on a battery charger and see what happens. also, even though it is a new battery, it still could have a weak cell.

Drivers electric window wont roll up it goes down real slow but wont go up past halfway. Its real slow going down and before this it would go slow and roll outside of track at top

Window regulator and motor assembly will need replaced. Common problem. You've seen other people with it at the drive thru ATM and pick up windows - getting out of there car to get items!! LOL! Seriously have an experienced mech. look into it. Having this thing not work will be a real pain especially if it dies during a rain storm. Good luck

I have a 2004 jeep wrangler that wont accept fuel corectly it shuts the pump off no matter how slow i fuel it

there are two valves on top your fuel tank,
one is a roll over valve that will close off the fuel if the vehicle rolls over, the other is a vent valve that lets pressure escape while your filling it with gas, this valve is not letting the air that is going in the tank with the fuel vent out ,so it is coming out the only hole it has which is the filler tube.
