You have blown either a fuse, or a relay. You will need to check each one by pulling it out and carefully inspecting it.

The reverse polarity should have blown at least 1 fuse to prevent further electrical problems, I would start by looking there, replacing blown fuses and then trying to restart.

84'Honda Prelude

I had exactly same thing on my boat recently...which has a car motor in it. And I also charged the battery and I also had a reading that said I had charge. HOwever, I tried another battery from a car and it suddenly worked. Don't know why, but it really was the battery. When I put the old one back in, it still wouldn't start. With a new battery it's fine. Ya just never know why sometimes!! Good luck!

Ive changed the spark plugs in my honda prelude and now the car wont start

does it even crank? put the old ones back and if it starts then you have the wrong spark plugs or they were not gapped correctly.

My 98 prelude wont sttay on.. i replaced the alternator, batterym spark plugs and wires.... everytyme i get a jump it comes on and as soon as i take em off the car shuts off

Well, you seem to have replaced parts that I would have changed in the course of trying to solve a starting/charging problem.
And a tune up problem.

I would recheck the connections at the battery and clean with a wire brush if necessary.

However, the alternator, if working correctly, should keep the car running after you start it with the jumper cables. There's something wrong there, I think.

Car wont start

If it has been sitting for 3 years it could be a number of things. First thing to try is a good tune up (plugs, wires, oil change, air filter, and fuel filter). If the plugs have fouled out they are not getting enough spark to burn the fuel. Also if the fuel itself has turned, you should try to drain the tank, this is not feasible at times and can be substituted by adding as much fresh gas as possible and a can of Octane boost/ Gas drier. SeaFoam is what I would recommend (found at your local autoparts store. If you have over half a tank of gas that has been sitting that long, you will need to find a way to drain what is in it. There are a few tricks to doing this without dropping the gas tank or sucking it out with a garden hose. Try the tune up first though.

My honda prelude stalled an now the stater is makins a funny nois and the moter wont turn over wat do i do

sounds like you have a dead battery and possible a bad altenator have the battery checked out and replace if bad. If not recharge and if the car starts have the charging system checked out you may have a bad altenator or voltage regulator probably built in the altenator. Possibly the starter but not likely since it stalled while running.

93 honda prelude dohc vtec engine will not can be push started

Sounds like you accidently pulled the thin wire from you starter motor. Look at the connections at the end of the solenoid, mounted on starter motor. The thick red wire is Battery + next to that connection is a smaller male push- on terminal, locate loose wire (thin) in the same area and reconnect to male push-on terminal on solenoid or check if earth cable between body/battery to engine wasnt removed in the process. Also some vehicles you have to engage the clutch before starting, check for a switch located on clutch pedal where master cylinder connects to clutch pedal (Is clutch switch mounted and wiring connected?)
