I can't find the location of fuel filter in my toyota corolla 2002 1.8 lt engine.

No inline fuel filter...it only has a fuel pump strainer...inside the fuel tank attached to the fuel pump

the filter on those cars are on the fuel pump which is located inside the gas tank

If a petrol engine then their is a gauze filter inside the fuel tank on the pick up pipe ,Unless you have been filling with fuel from cans you should never need to change a fuel filter ,diesel yes but petrol cars i have never changed a fuel filter on a modern car with a fibre glass tank ,the old metal tanks then yes but on modern cars ---?= never had a problem

Fuel filter is located under the hood engine compartment, behind the engine, on car body. It is usually black in color, cup shaped with banjo bolt at the top and the nut at the bottom. It is attached to the body by means of a clip and bolt. It is replaced after every subsequent 30,000 Kms.

It has a life time filter inside the fuel tank.

most of the times they are located in line with the fuel lines some times the are located in the engin compartment

Follow the gasoline fuel line from the engine to the bottom of your car, either at right side or left side .

Usually the fuel filter is underneath the driver side, the manufacture use ¼” or 5/16” rubber hose to connect to the metal pipe.

When you change the fuel filter, shot off the engine. Watch out the gasoline get into your eyes.
