1999 Corolla..........365,000 KM!!!!!!!!!!! Today all 4 power windows AND Power door lock stopped working. Of course its around freezing and 2 of the windows are slightly open!!! Nothing else seems to have stopped working, all interior lights and dash lights, heater hazards etc are all working fine. Any thoughts?

First I would check the fuses and relay. Second I would remove the interior door panel and check the connector pins on the motor to the window. Should that not work, you can disconnect the motor and force crank the window up. Although it sounds like a fuse/relay issue as they seem to be the only items not working. Let me know.

Thanks for the tips, I'll check it out!!! I hope its only the fuses or relay!

Fuse for 1999 Cadillac Escalade power windows

Why do you want to know the location of the fuse for power windows when you have door lock problems ? Not the same fuse , besides power windows have a circuit breaker , not a fuse .

I disconnected the battery in my 2003 Toyota Corolla NZE briefly and upon reconnecting the power windows and central locking stopped working on all doors (from the driver's control panel). The problem...

It is not a big deal. All the windows need re-learn after the battery is disconnected. To re-learn do the following steps:
1. Sit on a driver's seat. Switch on the ignition.
2. Push the window button to open the driver's window and and keep the button pressed for 3 to 5 seconds after the glass touches the bottom and release the button.
3. Similarly do the same to close the window.
4. Do the same with all the remaining windows one by one.
5. Now after all the windows are re-learned, they should now be operated with a driver's master switches.
Good Luck and thank you for visiting Fixya.

My power windows will not work. I have checked and tested the fuse and it works fine. The power loch switch on the driver door also do not work, but it works on the passenger door. What should I do?

test you connections first. the ones to the swtches. check with voltmeter to see if power gets there, it should if the relay/fuse is good. then connect 2 points together with a bypass wire and see if it does anything. try them all. if nothing happens, the motor will have to be tested, if the windows /lock go up or down, the switch is defective. replace whatever is defective and re-install everything in the order and the way you took them out. enjoy !

05 corolla oem power door locks and windows install

All of the power locks and power windows are directly ties into the "Integration Relay". This is the large white box behind the fuse panel under the dash. There are 2 different Integration relays, one with electric windows, and one without them. You may need to change the integration relay, also.

Power window problems

More often than not, the switch contacts in the driver door window switch get burnt from repeated uses; a common problem. If this is the case, you will need to replace the driver door master switch.
