I've got the same problem. When engine is cold gear shifting is hard and uncomfortable. But when engine temperature is rising the gear shifting is soft. Where can I find these solenoid valves responsable for gear shifting? My AT gearbox has code M6HA. Please help!

Having rebuilt alot of Honda and Acura transmissions,i have noticed on test drives that these cars generally do shift later, especially the first shift, from 1st to 2nd,before we ever lay hands on them for repairs.Honda has designed this into the vehicle with the computer programming. With that said,if the trans is really really shifting late, there could be a problem somewhere, and i would advise to have the vehicle scanned for diagnostic trouble codes,as there could be a problem with the electronic solenoids mounted on the exterior of the trans,on the case. There are shift solenoids, line pressure solenoids called linear solenoids,TCC solenoids, some models use clutch pressure switches, and all use speed sensors. So there are alot of exterior electrical components that can affect transmission operation, and this would show up when scanning for diagnostic trouble codes. That's the starting point. The fluid can also be changed and use only Honda genuine fluid or equivalent. The filter for the transmission is only changed when the trans is completely torn down for an overhaul. So,trans in the car, remove the drain plug, drain, and refill.Good luck.

2002 Chevy silverado, at speeds of 60+ mph, it feels like the transmission slips or it sputters(hesitates), but only at high speeds

Are you certain that it is the transmission and not the engine misfiring? I would recommend scanning your onboard computer network to BEGIN proper diagnosis.

The automatic gearbox on my mondeo 2002 changes gears but slips

In the engine compartment, you will need to locate the transmission dipstick. Usually on the left side of the motor, labeled "Trans fluid". Pull it out and check the fluid level. Your problem could be as simple as putting transmission fluid in it. That will make it slip. You fill the transmission right down the dipstick tube.

Definitely change the transmission oil - could be some rubbish in there stopping the actuators working correctly. If that doesn't work, could be time for rebuild with new friction material in the clutches.
