We just purchased a used 2007 Passat 2.0 Turbo. They did not have an owners manual for the car. We want to learn more about our vehicle, how to operate all the features, service recommendations, etc.

this question is listed as a 2008, and also 2006,, I located a 2006 right here ,, I'm sure that the owners manual listed will help you with what you need, its just the owners manual,, and I don't think it can be downloaded, however I think you can rt click, Highlight, and save as , try that , anyway heres the link

AC = Air Conditioning CS = Crankshaft F = Fan pulley G = Generator PAS = Power Assisted Steering T = Tensioner pulley WP = Water Pump
1. Viscous coupling removal (lock the viscous coupling).
2. Lock the ancillary drive belt tensioner.
3. Lock the coolant pump.
4. Remove the coolant pump drive belt. 5. Remove the ancillary drive belt. 6. Release the A/C tensioner if vehicle is equipped with A/C (Air Conditioning). 7. Remove the A/C compressor drive belt.

"Free" will be a problem. The best place to find a "free Owner's Manual" is to copy one from another Passat owner. You can purchase copies of the owner's manual from a variety of on-line sources, and even on eBay. Chances are that you are not the original owner, otherwise VW of America may be able to help. Unlike General Motors, VW does not offer downloadable copies of their Owner's Manuals from the VW Owners website.
