Hi i have a 2000 model bmw 328ci i had the battery replaced now the instrument cluster aircon and tv satnav dont work ? is this from the people that installed the battery your advice would be good thankyou

this could be a cluster problem that will have to be tested and probably replaced, or it could be a BCM problem. either way it will have to be checked out by a competent shop.

It is possible AAA worker connected the battery backwards for just a second and got a big spark. This can cause major issues, but sometimes just minor ones, such as blown fuses. Check every fuse for starters. There are also fusible links in the wiring which can be blown.

CHECK 5 AMP FUSE TO THE POWER DISTRIBUTION CIRCUIT WHICH SENDS POWER TO THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER.IF FUSE OKAY.EITHER CLUSTER HAS A LOOSE WIRE OR CLUSTER SHORTED OUT.IF CLUSTER IS FAULTY. THE BMW HAS TO REPLACE THE CLUSTER BECAUSE NEW CLUSTER HAS TO BE CODED TO MATCH THE VECHICLE.

Yes that is a great car - BMW however has a habit of changing things mid year SO - -take down the vin number - call the local dealer and ask for either a print out - or if it is simply - just instructions for your vin number -this prevents you trying to do the reset for another model same year - different set up. While you have their attention -ask about RECALLS - and - SERVICE BULLETINS.

Common problem on BMW's apparently...there are on-line repair services but they are NOT cheap...100-300 bucks. Tough to fix yourself...unles you are a highly skilled techie!

Yes you have an E46, You need to order the UK drivers side glass and make sure you specify it's a coupe. the saloons have a different wing mirror.
