Hi there (There was no i20 model in the drop down list below) I bought a Hyundai i20 3 months ago. About a month ago my aircon didn't work anymore. I took it in to Hyundai Bedforview Service Centre. After 3 weeks they tell me that it can't be fixed under warranty as they THINK a stone hit the part from below and caused the aircon to leak gas. I can understand if the car was older that you can make that assumption. But who say it didn't happen while the car was driven to the dealership where I bought it. The car is still brand new. To pay a premium of over R3000 a month to drive a car with aircon and only after such a short while to have to pay R7500 to get it working again....Something is not right. I really look after my vehicles, and drive it with care. This is my 3 Hyundai I'm driving and the first time something like this happens. Please help me as I really get bad service at this stage. Thanks Regards Phillip Cilliers

I believe you have a valid issue with your dealer. I would speak to the owner and tell him you wish to return the car as a "lemon". If he has a problem with either repairing or replacing under warranty, I would call Hyundai and ask for someone in charge of either customer satisfaction or the dealer's account. I would also after explaining my problem, tell them I am considering filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and Dept. of Consumer Affairs. Do these things in a calm, rational fashion and smile at them because you are in the right. Best regards, Don Tucker

My 2007 hyundai elantra cruise control isn't working. you press the cruise button then the set and the light just flashes up then disapears and nothing happenes

I bought my 2007 Hyundai Elantral about 8 months ago and have loved it! But on my way to work this morning, mine did the same exact thing that you have described here. I assumed it was a fuse (in denial about the fact that it could be something much more serious). Have you found anymore out regarding this problem since you posted this?

I bought a new hyundai accent back in 2006, after 2 years the dealer replaced a faulty starter motor, that is now ok,about 18 months ago one of the coils broke down, that was replaced, about 6 months later...

Hyundia are the best car in the world. Sorry, but they are getting better. I haven't heard of a harness issue. anyway the coils have the ground in common, but the hot wires are separate. probably got there coil packs from china( junk). And I have seen coil packs break down one after the other on different models. Hopefully the dealer is using a better grade of coils. You might even ask them to go ahead and replace the rest of them, seeing there is an issue there. You just never know.

Aircon not working 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport

There is a pressure valve that keeps the compressor from turning on if it has a low freon charge. Get a self recharge kit that comes with a gauge with colored charge indicator. Hook it up and see where your charge is. It is very inexpensive compared to a pro A/C shop.
