Distributers are very common for failing in these cars, when the car wont start, pull a spark plug out leave the wire connected and place the threaded portion of the spark plug on some metal on the engine. Get a friend to turn the key, look for spark between the gap on the spark plug, if no spark, signs point to bad distributer

Most likely its the spark coil inside the distributor, under the rotor.Its a replaceable part. If your engine says 12valve on the rocker cover, and it a sedan, its most likely a 1.4L. If you have a Summit wagon, its a 1.8L.

they are pretty much all the same line up your 2 camshaft marks with your crankshaft mark they should all facing the same direction ,if you look on ebay I will bet your problem is solved there , good luck

Get a fault code read done. On the point of mono motronic injection (which this is not) the mono jets NEVER suffer from dirty throttle bodies as the upstream injector washes it clean each time it injects. The 1.2 is multipoint injection and these throttle bodies DO get clogged up.

There should be a book that comes with the code key reader and that should tell you what is wrong. If it is saying fuel sensor, get a chilton or haynes manual so you can find out where it's located and how to fix it.
