Remove the plastic cover that goes over the engine (the one with the Hyundai logo).
At this point, you will see the cables that goe to each fo the spark plugs.
Noting their position, remove them.
The spark plugs are ready to be removed, turn counterclockwise and replace with manufacturer recomended ones.

SOURCE: how to program 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe Keyless Entry

I have a 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe and just completed adding keyless remore. The control module is the large black box behind and below the fuse box next to the hood release. 'Set' and 'off' are written small and in yellow on the side of the box closest to the steering column, and were obscured by wires coming out of the fuse box. There was a sticker over the switch that had to be pierced to get to the small switch. I used a small pick to move the switch as it is difficult to get your fingers in there. Turned ignition switch two clicks to 'Acc' location and waited 5 seconds; some instructions I found said move to 'on' location but didn't work for me; then moved switch to 'set'; pushed remote lock button; set switch to 'off'; turned off ignition and tested. Most difficult part was finding switch.

SOURCE: PROGRAM KEYFOB FOR HYUNDAI SANTA FE

This is from the factory service manual of your car:
There is no onboard programming procedure for this vehicle. This vehicle requires special equipment be connected to the vehicle to program the keyless remote. Translation you need the dealer to do this.

How do I replace a power train control module on a 2004 Hyundai Santa fe

I don't know how you have concluded the PCM is the problem here. You're probably jumping t conclusions without sufficient testing but the new PCM has to be programmed in the car before the engine will run.
It's located in front of the console, under the HVAC housing.

I need instructions to program keyless entry remote for 2002 Hundai Santa Fe

For a 1994 to 2006 Sonata, a 2001 to 2006 Elantra, a 2000 to 2006 XG350 or a 2001 to 2006 Santa Fe, you will need to access alarm system control module. On most of those vehicles it is located on the driver's side fascia panel. But on the Sonata, the facia panel is in the center.

  • 2 Once you have found this module, you will want to ensure that the memory switch is in the OFF position. Then turn the ignition on.
  • 3 Wait 5 seconds and set the memory switch to SET position and then press the remote transmitter lock button to send the code to the alarm system control module.
  • 4 If you would like to program a second remote transmitter then you will need to press second remote transmitter lock button.
  • 5 Next set the memory switch to off, then turn the ignition off. You can confirm your programming by locking and unlocking the vehicle with both of the remotes. good luck my friend

Program factory remote keyless entry: 2003 Hyundai XG350

The procedures you list require the Hyundai Keyless Remote programming module, which you don't have. This module is proprietary - only Hyundai Dealerships have it. There is a 10 pin connector under the dash (next to the DLC - Data Link Connector) which is used to connect the Keyless Remote Programming Module. This module has two switch positions "Ready" and "SAVE". When the switch is place in the 'SAVE" position, that's when the keyless remotes are activated to send their 'codes' to the Electronic Time and Control System (ETACS). The module's switch is then set to "Ready" and the remote is tested to see if it works properly.
