Need assistance- BMW dealer cannot figure out issue
While driving car- everynow and than you hear what sounds like the right passenger door or drivers door pop open yet the door does not open. You than hear the auto close mechanism noise ( the car has the utomatic closing doors ( like many trunks have). BMW dealer went thru the latches and called BMW looking for a bulletin- nothing showing up. I have young childern and this is scary should the door ever open up while we are driving.
Last night we heard the noise again and this time on dash board it said door open. I was driving 60 mph when this happen. Any assistance is appreciated.

Gap for 2008 bmw 750l1

You do not gap BMW plugs, they are pre-gapped when new. If the corners are rounded off, you need new plugs.

2008 bmw 750li the trunk not open

There is a valet switch in he center console and make sure it is switched on so it will open. Does it open from trunk switch on the trunk or from the manual key cylindr in the trunk deck lid? If it does not work from the manual key release on the deck lid then the lock in the trunk is faulty and will need to be drilled and removed unless your a lucky one and have the ski boot opening in the center of backseat fold down arm rest ? If there is a opening then use a hanger and grab the emergency release handle at the right rear of the trunk deck lid underneath, it is glow in the dark colored.

How long have you been driving? Dashboard lights, parking lights, cabin lights etc have dedicated switches in most vehicles. Check your model with BMW for details.

Passenger air bag/seat belt restraint error message on 2006 750li

Unfortunately there is no easy Do It Yourself answer for this. You need to have a BMW specialist check out the code if there is a faulty sensor or if the computer system needs to be reset. You don't necessarily have to go to the dealer as there are independent shops who have certified BMW specialists or can refer you to one - sometimes, you can find one on Craiglist who can come out to you.
