Certain spark plugs you don't adjust the gap. Spark plug manufacturers may have different gap recommendations. If you want it in inches, try .051 or 1.3mm
It really depends on the spark plug being used. But if you stick to the origninal spark plug NGK TR5A-10 it is supposed to be gapped a 1.0 mm since Ford has issued an in house service directive to reduce the gap from 1.3 mm (original) to 1.0 mm (present) 0.03936996
CHANGING SPARK PLUGS EASY.ALL YOU NEED IS SPARK PLUG SOCKET.TORQUE WRENCH WOULD BE GOOD.NOT MANDATORY IF YOU MAKE SURE NOT TO OVER TIGHTEN SPARK PLUGS STRIP OUT THREAD SINCE THEY ARE ALUMINUM.YOU NEED A 3/8 RATCHET.SHORT AND LONG EXTENSION.YOU NEED SPARK PLUG GAUGE TO SET SPARK GAP.THE 2.0 OR 2.3 ENGINE SPARK PLUG GAP IS 0.041- 0.045.
Usually the spark plug gap is located somewhere on one of the stickers under the hood. Either the underside of the hood or the area between the bumper and the engine.
