Could be the starter or possibly the ignition. Best way to test the starter is get out a multimeter and check the voltage to the main wire on the starter make sure it's getting 12 volts, then when you try and start see if the solenoid is getting voltage, the solenoid will ONLY get voltage when you are trying to start it. Try that and go from there. thank you, Lee
Check the starter. The clicking is caused by the starter solenoid engaging, but the starter not turning over. This will more than likely need to be replaced.
Sounds like Solenoid. U can replace it if you know how to do a starter rebuild. Go to local auto store and see if they have it or a rebuild kit. Otherwise just buy a new/ rebuilt starter and put that in.
Sounds like starter solenoid. Use a voltmeter and put it on B+ wire from starter relay to solenoid. Then crakk the vehicle . If your getting 12v there than its the starter solenoid. if there is no B+ there than check ign. switch, neutral safety switch, starter relay .
Good luck ..... you may want to give the battery a 3 min charge before testing.
to locate the starter follow positive wire from the battery pole. it is connected to the solenoid of the starter. from there you can locate the bolts and nuts that secures the starter to the engine.
