ESP (electronic stability program) and the ABS (anti-lock brake system) are the same system, you must have the system tested by the dealer when the light is on, it requires a special scanner to read the fault code that is present when the warning lights are on.

Abs PUMP MOTOR CIRCUIT VALVE

told, or did.?
why not do as told.?
this post is confusing, sorry
ESP/ABS is a very complex system.
why are you attempting to out guess such a system.
let them fix it.
or buy a car with no ESP. or ABS.

good luck keeping any chapter 11 company car going
some parts that forever to get for this underdog.

I have one, but when it gets harder, off a cliff it goes
or sell it, busted.
I can fix most things, but not with out parts.

back to your high tech magic like brakes.
1: let them fix it
2: DIY

to DIY you need the special and expensive scan tool.
and the expensive FSM (factory serv. man.)
or go to alldata d o t com and read it all there.
all the steps to diagnosis this is there and in the book.
no need to guess, or wonder its all there.
(assumes you read up on ABS first, not withstanding)

cheers and good luck with ABS.
PS:
why not clean all the wheel sensors first. why not?'

I have a '06 GV and in the dash appears the ESP and the ABS lights. What the ESP light means and how can I fix it? What I have to resolve with the ABS light?

the ESP is the electronic stability program it works in conjuction with your abs, its it's to help you not over steer your vehical if you go into a skid, the abs keeps the wheels from locking up so you also don't go into a skid when hard braking, check all your wheel sensors and your brakes to make sure you do not have any broken wires or contaminated connections.
hope this gives you some ideasgood luck!!

ABS and ESP lights on all the time. I bought Audi A4 B6 2004 only two months ago. It started in heavy rain.

The ESP system means the Electronic Stability Program. If the ESP & ABS lights on the dashboard permanently the ESP & ABS system is faulty. You must access the ESP & ABS Electronic Control Unit (ECU) memory for pull out all DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Codes), using diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector of the car (placed in dashboard, under a plastic cover above the ashtray). Then you will be full informed about bad pieces (e.g.: front right wheel abs sensor interrupted, ...). After bad pieces replacement you will be able to erase all faults memored by ESP & ABS ECU, in other words reset the ESP & ABS system and turn off the warning lamp on dashboard.

Abs an esp lights on

Behind the wheel on each axle is a sensor that operates the abs and or esp. Have the switch checked out by a qualified mechanic and replace if necessary.

2000 Audi TT exclamation mark service light came on. Possible reason?

The light you are referring to is your ESP light. You should have a button above the radio that reads "ESP" Electronic Stability Program is what it stands for.. its your traction control. It is somehow directly tied into the MAF and if the MAF goes it turns off.
ESP, electronic stability control, keeps the car going where
you steer it. You might have a dirty ABS wheel sensor. Not always will the MAF trigger a CEL. But it can and will turn on the ESP light if its not functioning or plugged in. MAF can range from $80-$120 and Is easy to replace yourself. It is right next to the airbox.

ABS, ESP, Level warning lights (2004 Allroad TDI)

I had the brake light switch replaced by a local dealer. Cost was $140 and it fixed the problem. Have driven the car for two weeks since and no lights and all systems normal.
