How to reset the oilchange reset buttom on an avalon limitted 2008

On a 2010 this is how you reset the maintenance due light. Turn the ignition switch to the on position to make sure it is showing odometer not trip (A) or (B) then turn ignition switch off. Hold the odometer button in while turning the ignition switch back to the on position (do not start the engine) and continue to hold until the odometer shows all zero's..oooooo then the maintenance due light should go off when the engine is started.

Maintenance reqd indication light is still showing on the dashboard after have changed the oil filter and oil. What is the problem? My car is 2008 Toyota Avalon.

Set the display window to ODO.
Turn the ignition switch off.
While pressing the reset switch, turn the ignition switch on(IG). Keep pressing the reset switch for at least 5 seconds to complete reset procedure.

*IF this does not work you have be confused with the warning light, it may not be the oil life, but check engine light, refer to owners manual for clarity.

How do I turn off the Maintenance REQD light on my 2008 Avalon

Try this:
  • Put your vehicle in Park and turn the ignition key to the off position.
  • Locate the button used to toggle between your trip odometer, which should be near the speedometer display. Press the button and hold it down.
  • Turn your vehicle's ignition to the acc setting while holding the button. Do not crank the vehicle. Hold the position for five seconds and turn the ignition key off. Release the button. The maintenance light will be reset and will illuminate again the next time service is due.
Hope helped.

Where is the tire sensor reset button on a 2008 Toyota Avalon

Firestone Hmmmmmm. Well the reset button is located just under the dash to the left of the steering column, hold for a few seconds and the light should go out. Hopefuly the firestone tech won't tell you your brakes need greasing the next time you go in for service, haha. Oh, I do beleive your tire pressure should be 29 psi. But, you can check your owners manual for correct pressures. It sould also tell you where the reset button is also. That should FixYa good luck.
