How to replace brake light on 1998 ram truck 1500

Has the master cylinder been replaced?

The brake light switch is bad at your pedal

brake pedal? when braking? that would be warped rotors. I'd pull the rotors off have them machined or replaced and replace the pads at the same time

need scanner to check code and brake is ABS light.

Loosen the bleed ******* off 1 at a time , if no fluid comes out the nipple is blocked clean them or change them .

The location of the flasher relay on a 1998 Dodge Truck is in the fuse panel which is located on the left side of the dash. It is accessable when the door is open. All you need to do is pull off the panel cover to expose the fuses, and the diagram on the fuse cover will show you which one is the falsh relay. The one on my truck is blue, and is about one inch square.

Yes this is in the body control moguel located under the dash by the brake pedel agenst the firewall its a black box

do you head lights work ok are your turn signals working the brake light go through the multifunction switch then to the brke lights also did you check the brake light switch for power going in and opperation
