I dont think my vac.secondaries are working and i think a vac.line is hooked up wrong its a quadrajet 4bbl on a stock 305 in an 84 el camino

It is in the inlet to the carburetor. It will require a 1 inch and a 5/8 inch wrench.

I think the fuse block is tucked up under the dash aboe the brake pedal. Not sure, but i think that's right. Fuse should be marked I assuming both windows aren't working??

I have that same motor in my '71 SS El Camino!
I hate to tell you this, but you might have a bad cam. Remove your valve covers, start it up, and make sure all your rocker arms are rockin' the same.

if you have a quadrajet carb it will be right at the fuel inlet, front of the carb. you may have an inline filter instead or also, this would be in the line between the fuel pump (front left side of engine block as you look at the engine) and the carb

i usually remove the one that is in the carb and put in an inline filter myself, it makes replacement so much easier.. the carb housings like to strip out

I just looked at my El Camino and the trans. lines run against the oil pan and behind the starter

Check your accelerator pump. It's on the side of the carburetor, near where the fuel line enters. It costs about $10 to replace but it causes a lot of headaches.

Did you recently put wider than stock tires on your car? The wiring harness for the rear lights runs down the outside of the drivers side frame rail, wider tires will rub on the harness and cause damage to it and subsequent light failures.

i think its a faulty ignition switch it will need to be replaceed

i have the same problem with mine. I think it might be tha carburetor or that the rpm's might be to low. not sure. but those are my ideas.

you probobly have a wire shorting out some place ...
