There is very little room to gain access to the bulb from behind the headlight assembly.if you remove the plug for the headlight and then slide your hands down on either side of the bulb.there is a lock ring that you must remove(unlock)first.then pull the bulb out and install the new bulb and reassemble in reverse order.NOTE don`t touch the bulb glass with your hands or it can burn out prematurely from the oil on your skin.

When low beam headlight is on passenger sign is

Try this to eliminate new bulbs for both sides:
With a partner behind the wheel:
PULL out the bulbs one at a time. Keep them plugged in. While you are holding the bulb - have your partner click and HOLD the High Beam Selection. This causes the Low Beam and High Beam filaments to both go on and stay on.
Check both sides this way.
While the bulbs are out, look at the filaments that did not illuminate. Are they broken, bent, or have indications they are burnt out?
You can also change to bulbs (left to right, right to left) and recheck using the above method of holding the high beam selector and checking the filaments.

How do you change the low beam headlight bulb?

You will have to remove the headlight assembly to whichever side is burneed out. It is a halogen bulb that gets replaced not the entire assembly. Careful not to touch the new bulb with your fingers as this will cause premature failure of the bulb.

1988 buick century headlights

To change the low beam headlight on the 2001 Lesabre, the headlight assembly must first be removed from the car. It is really quite simple to do. There are two bolts on the top of the assembly that must be removed - that is all! The entire assembly comes out and gives easy access to the low beam bulb. Give it a 1/4 counterclockwise turn to remove it. Plus in the new one (#9006) and reverse the procedure.

REPLACEMENT OF [LOW BEAM] HALOGEN BULB IN 2004 Buick LeSabre

I just Replaced a Low Beam Light bulb on a 2005 Buick La Sabre.

If You use a Metric socket and Remove the Two Silver bolts Attaching the headlight Assemble onto the metal surrounding the the lamp assembly it comes out to the front. This makes it much easier to access the bulb. Twist it counerclockwise & it comes out by pulling gently on the bulb. Then by realeasing a tab that is the socket holder bulb can be removed & replaced with a New #9006 low beam halogen light bulb. Wrap a Paper towel around the bulb & do NOT touch it with your bare hand as this wiil ruin a halogen bulb,

Right headlamp

Check the fuse for the passenger side.It is under the hood. it may not be making good contact. wiggle it a little bit and see if it makes any difference. if not, check where the the ground wires are connected to the chasis. See if thats not the problem.
