No unfortunately there is no generic code that will work. The code is linked to the individual serial of the radio.

Thankfully there is a means of retrieving the code and it is not too expensive from this link. You will need to provide the serial number and radio part or model number of the radio in the case of Chrysler.

2007 accord radio and heater don't work, battery died and I think it needs a "code"

occasionaly the code can be found on the radio, if not you can remove the radio, and call your local dealership and ask for the code. they'll ask you for some information regarding the vehicle and give you the code. They should ask for VIN number and serial number on the radio. Sometimes the code will be found in the owners manual or on the envelope containing it. hope this helps.

I have a 1997 acrua battery died now radio is asking for a code

when power is diconnected from your car, the radio will ask for a code. this is part of the anti theft system of your car. inside your owners manuel case, there should be a slip with the code on it.( hope its there) input this into your radio. if its not allowing you, disconnect the battery, and reconnect. this should allow you to input the code sequence.

My radio is lock

I'm assuming the battery power was disconnected and the radio security feature is asking for the code now. There are no generic codes. Unless you have this radio code provided with the owners manual that came with the vehicle, you will need to contact GM for this radio code.

I need the code in the radio to start my radio. I accidently left my car door open and the battery dies, after jump strating the car the radio does not work. It is asking for a code???

If you don't know what the code is, then I am assuming you either forgot the code that you programmed into the radio or you are not the original owner of the vehicle. In either case, the code can be overridden by the dealer. You will have to show proof that you own the vehicle when you ask them to reset your radio, so make sure you have your ID and Vehicle Registration with you.

The cars battery died and now i recharged it and the radio is asking for a code whats the code and how do you type it in

that would be the security code that is meant to protect the radio from being stolen. This is usually provided on a plastic card when you buy the car. In case you don't have it, you will have to go in person to your honda place and identify yourself as the owner.

As soon as the power is cut off to the radio (ie, the battery dies or the radio is ripped out of the dashboard) the radio gets locked. This is when you need the code.

Good luck.

Radio says off , i was asked to enter a code after my car wouldnt start. how can i fix this?

You will need to go to the dealer with a VIN number and proof of ownership to get the radio code. This is a theft deterrent built into alot of cars now. Either that or get an aftermarket radio installed.

Dead Battery equals Stereo lock

You must get the 4 digit security code and enter it into the radio by pressing the AM and FM2 buttons at the same time. Then enter code via the preset buttons. Press button #1 until you get the first digit of the code then press button #2 until you get the 2nd digit and so on for the 3rd and 4th digits. when code is on the display press the AM and FM2 buttons again and radio should come back on. if it reads safe you have the wrong code #. You can get the code from a dealer for a small fee. They need to remove the radio to get a serial # on the radio chassis.

My car battery died and i jump started the car, and now my radio wont turn on and it blinks code whhat code do i need and where doi find it

your radio is anti theft . you need to put in the theft code. contact the parts department at the dealer you purchased it from. they should help you for free but they can charge you. look in the owners manual your code may be generic. unless you or the last owner set a custom code. if the code is custom you will have to pay the dealer. hope its generic good luck.
