Open your trunk and you will see some twist off caps holding the light assembly in. Unscrew them and gently slide the bulb assembly right out. Revers to resemble.

sounds like you have a bad ground wire or the wire going to the sides is broken. you may have to check the connections till you find where the wires are connected. if you can test the two side lights with a battery to confirm they do work and are not bad bulbs. or switch them with working light bulbs to confirm they work. then if they work they you need to start looking for a section of wire that may be broken or is corroded and will need to reconnected to make work again.

Only right side reverse light does not work.

There is not any left or right reverse Light switch. It is only one switch for reversing light and it is fitted on the Transmission. If you do have the one working and the other not, first check the bulb if is ok,if not change it. If the bulbs are ok, check for any broken wiring.

Replace the bulb first, if it still does this replace the socket and make sure the ground for the light is clean and tight and that the connectors for the tail lights are fully clipped together.

Relpaceing reverse light saturn outlook 2008

To replace the reverse light, you have to remove at least partially the inside trim of the rear hatch/lift gate. There's video of doing this on the Chevy Traverse here, which is basically the same vehicle. If you need to work on the right-hand/passenger side, you'll need to remove the plastic cover over the door handle (the inside handle used to pull the lift gate down). The plastic cover snaps on and off, then there are two screws you need to remove. I used the tip from the video link above along with removing the screws under the handle (7mm worked, may not be an exact fit) to replace my passenger side reverse light unit since it was cracked. This was a very easy repair which cost me about $50 for the part, the dealer wanted almost $300 for the full job--shame on you dealers! Hope this helps.

Brake light, reverse light and turn signal issues

Hello. The symptoms you are describing are likely due to a poor ground. Temporarily install a new ground wire by securing a piece of copper wire to the frame with a self tapping screw. Use this ground wire along with the hot wire to see if each of these lights works. If it does, trace the ground wire back to the frame, unscrew it and clean up the metal with emery cloth so you reestablish a good ground.

Replace side marker light on lexus rx300

Remove 3 - 4 screws on fender cover close to side marker light. Pull fender cover out a bit for you to use your other hand to reach side marker light. By twisting on one direction and here you go the light out. Replace new bulb and replace everything on reverse order.

On the side of your transmission will be a switch with several wires coming out of it. This is your reverse switch that turns on your reverse lights and most likely needs to be replaced
