Need to wire a starter. put 350 chevy 99. pulled the wires back and nothig was right

I probably going to need more detail but i'll try first the starter holds the positive battery cable and the feed cables for the vehicle this are usually one or two cables protected by fuse links then in the small connector marked with the letter ''s'' takes the actual start signal cable is the one that makes it start when you turn the switch please let me know if it helps or need more assistance i'll be glad to help.

most starters are the same on chevy 350s should bolt right up, if you have to change torque converter, but most chevy 350 flywheels are universal. that's the good thing about a chevy most everything 350 smallblock bolts right up. hope this helps

Starter replacement in 2003 chevy malibu

disconnect negative battery terminal, raise vehicle,remove splash sheild, if equipped. take wires off of solenoid on starter, remove starter mounting bolts, remember not to mix up wires!! --to install--put starter back in vehicle put in bolts,hook up wires, then replace cable back on battery.

I need to find out what colors go to what post onto the starter

most of the time all big hole wires go to the big post whitch would be battery an hot leads.the smaller wire sould go to the s post closer to the block. s stands for start.. GOOD LUCK

Starter 99 s10

First disconnect the positive battery cable. You already have the bolts out. pull the starter back and down and it will drop out. do not let it hand from the wires. Disconnect the wires to the starter. Pay attention as to which wire comes off what terminal. They must be attached correctly or your starter will not crank after installation. Then the last thing you do will be to hook the battery up again.
