A very common Homda problem is the main relay. It tends to lose connectivity when it gets hot. Check some of the other posts about this problem. Accords also are so afflicted.

Is it out of gas? Is it getting fuel? Is it getting spark?

1999 eclipse no spark

On the 2.0 and 2.4 engines there is an ignition module that fires the coil from input from the computer and sensors.
You may have to get a shop manual to have the testing procedures needed to check the module.
