I bought a 98 z3 and i need to find a diagram of the dash lights, i have a red circle light with dashes around it and i don't know what it means

It's a break pad sensor, your pads are worn out,if you wait to long, you"ll ware thru the sensor and have to replace it. it's not a hard fix, you"ll have to clear the code to remove the dash diagram, after u fix the brakes, and maybe the sensor, good luck

If the brake warning light has come on you will have to replace the sensor to reset when you replace your brakes and sensor simply turn the key on without starting car and light will reset in about 30 seconds
