Your going to need a good wiring diagram biy yourself a service manual. Most likely the issue is a bad ground. Take a volt ohm meter check at each bulb socket for 12v. If 12v is present then take a jumper wire and jump the ground wire at the bulb socket to ground if your light works then youve got a bad ground. Good luck
someone has switched the wiring harness sockets to the wrong bulbs or installed the bulbs in reverse. get in behind the headlight assembly on the driver side and reverse the wires, if that does not work then pull the bulbs and swap them inside to outside and vice versa.
If the drivers side will not light up and pass/side will light up, they run on the same fuse. I would start with pulling the light bulbs out and check to see it there is power coming back at all, with a volt meter, if there is may have to clean off the contact points where the bulb fits in, if not may have to trace the wires back to front to see if something got cut, if you have trailer lights for towing look at the wires there to see if somthing has rubbed the plastic off the wires and grounding out. dose the turn signal light work on that side? and the reveres light work on that side?
i actually had the same problem, what happened to me is the ballast got wet and stopped working. so what i would do is try the ballast from your drivers side and try it on the passengers side. i hope that this helps. if you have anymore questions, let me know.
Each light has its own fuse. Have you checked them? Maybe try switching two of them to see if they swap which one works... Once in a while a fuse that looks good has actually gone bad. Comment on this post if this doesn't help and we can move to the next step. Good luck!
