On my 2001 model dodge 1500 ram, My low beam headlights will not work, (high beam works fine) I have purchased a new low-high beam relay and can not locate the existing relay in order to change it, where would it be located? I have looked under the hood, under the dash still no luck.

SOURCE: 2004 Dodge Stratus A/C Fan Relay Switch

ok first the fan relay should be located inside the elecrical box. this is usually located on the drivers side under the hood. next even you have only one speed when you turn the switch it's because the reostat is bad it is located in the fan motor housing. hope this helps.

Have a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 i have high beams but no low beams why?

on rare occasions I have seen both low beams burn out I would buy one new bulb and replace either one in the truck if the low beam works with the new bulb then replace the other one as well if the low beam still does not work then replace the headlight switch also check to see if the headlight switch recall was done on that particular truck or if it was under that recall, they had a problem with some of the ram trucks burning up headlight switches but I would check to see if yours might have been one of them there is a wiring upgrade that they will put in at the headlight switch that will cure that, like I said though check to be sure first yours might have not been one of them.

I have no headlights!! parking lights, taillights, and blinkers all work fine. none of my fuses or bulbs are blown

I have a 2004 ram 2500 and all my lights work except for low beams. It is not in the switch, I haver replaced the switch with no change. This is a circuit problem with these dodge pickups. I haven't firgured out what it is but it isn't the switch. and unless the low beams and high beams are fused seperate, it isn't a fuse problem either. i have looked for a fuse and can't even find the fuse for the headlights. Im lost like you!

Here's a link to a pdf file containing the headlight wiring diagram for your year model Dodge Ram 1500..
I can't help but notice that you say you've replaced the headlight relay? That's quite odd, because there is NO headlight relay on this vehicle- only a 40 amp fuse located in the power distribution box that sits behind the battery inside the engine bay.
The switch is notorious for burning out because there is NO RELAY on this vehicle, and there is a recall (#819) but this only affects 3500 models even though the headlight wiring is the same for 1500,2500 and 3500 model Rams.
Here are two more links that will help you troubleshoot your headlights problems.
