Code means idle speed low. Low idle will cause the charging system warning because the alternator is turning too slow to produce significant voltage.

P0506 relates to the Idle air control system. The problem could be a dirty idle vale or the beginning of the motor failing. Try washing the motor out with some brake cleaner or solvent. Do this in a well ventilated area, be sure to reconnect it correctly. Hope this helps...

Ac wont hold charge compressor shuts off on my 96 cadillac sls

the most likey cause for the leak is a leaking a/c compressor or a leaking evap core located inside the dash board on the passenger side..... the compressor will automatically shut off when the a/c system charge becomes to low since low pressure can damage the system if it is on with a low charge

Need to replace serpentine belt and idler pulley for 1994 Cadillac Seville SLS and need diagram. It's not under hood on our car. We downloaded one diagram but it was not a match.

I had same issue. 1994 Cadillac Seville SLS serp diagrams not like my engine. Found that it is the same as 1993 Cadillac STS Northstar!
