1. The tyre has to be removed to fit the tyre valve/ sensor unit to the wheel. . Tyre dealers will do this for you when you supply the sensor.
2. Any renault dealer parts department can sell you a new sensor.
3. The new sensor has to be programmed to the car's tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
3. Here is a list of information about the Renault Laguna tyre pressure sensors to assist you. The 2nd link below shows a picture of the tyre valve/sensor unit that fits to your wheel.
you need to have the timing gears changed and have the mechanic check end play on the crank shaft and the end play on the cam and check the tensioner pulley for wear. If these are ok then you will need to see if it's a bad belt, Never use after market parts for timing belts use factory parts so it will last longer. This is a common thing for a mechanic to forget to check when replacing the timing belt. Hope this helps and thanks for using Fix-ya.
hallo first let me know year, engine code (or at least typ of engine 1.2, 1.4...). and I will send you picture for timing belt. and it will (did) bend valves, so you`ll have to remove cilinder head *** well.
If the cam belt popped you may not need to pull the head.. See if all you valves come to full height when you turn the cam with a wrench. If they do, you lucked out and none are bent. Change the timing belt and rotate the crank and cam together once everything is in time, and if you can, do a compression test. That will expose any bent vales. If you have compression. recheck your timing belt settings and button it up. Good Luck, Ned
I had the same fault on my laguna remove idle air valve and clean with carb cleaner
then lightly oil with light oil like 3in1 DO NOT use WD40 as it goes sticky when the
solvents dry out replace valve and check connections
