My Dodge caliber 2008 engine light came on , and everytime I pressed the brakes my flashers would stop functionning and all the lights in the dash flashed and even my radio didnt work , when im driving everything works but engine light stays on and then i press on brakes and same thing happens again .....

You will have to go to Advance Auto Parts, or Auto Zone, and they will scan your computer for free and let you know whats going on. From what you are saying your vehicle may be in "limp" mode which begins to shut down certain functions to maintain stability such as governed speed, fuel consumption etc.

Okay so if its going under limp mode , and Im not even on warranty anymore im over 60 000km .... THIS IS GONNA COST ME BIG BUCKS !!!!
