You haven't mentioned make, model or year so I can only give you basic information.

Access through the rear cover panel inside the vehicle, in the corner the light needs to be replaced, no tools are required. Once you have the cover off, the lamp holder removes by turning it counter-clockwise about 1/8 of a turn. Most newer vehicles bulbs pull straight out / push straight in.
Reinstall lamp holder and secure it by turning clockwise. Check to make sure new bulb is working, then replace cover panel & you are done.

Turn signal blinking fast. Why would it do this?

If the dash signal is blinking fast and the back of car signal is NOT working, then the problem is the bulb in the back of the car. The one that is not blinking needs to be replaced. The bulb that's not blinking is burned out, and this changes the resistance of the blinker circuit causing the blinker to flash rapidly on the dash indicator. FIX: Replace the burned out bulb in the back of the vehicle.

Note - Sometimes this situation causes the blinker module on the fuse panel to permanently change to a rapid or even a non-blinking state. In this case you must also replace the blinker device itself, which is on the fuse panel and looks like a small cylinder (or cube) less than one inch in diameter.

Right indicator flashes quick changed back bulb same problem

If bulb is OK;

1. Bulb has a lower wattage than the original. This decreases the load on the blinker module and makes it blink faster.
2. Blinker circuit is burned out or the connection is dirty; look in the fittings for corrosion.
3. Bad earthing can cause this problem.

Good luck!

I have a blinker problem. When my high beams come on when it turns dark and I use my left blinker it blinks real fast and it makes all my blinkers blink real fast.

Bad ground, or check all your bulbs. Usually its a ground in the back of the truck under where the spare is. If its not the ground check the bulbs. Please rate Thank you

How do i get to the blinker bulb on the 97 olds 88ls in the fron?

To change the blinker or headlight bulb on an 1997 Oldsmobile 88: Open the hood, remove the plastic cover thing so that you can see the housing for the light. On the back side of the housing there are three clips, remove those (I was able to remove them with just my fingers). Once the clips are removed the whole headlight slides out the front of the car. Now you can easily replace any of the blown bulbs.

Blinkers not working

check your wire harness with a voltmeter and check to see if all wires have power. If that doesn't work check your ground wire's.

Changing out Front Blinker bulb

I didn't realize how simple it was:

take out the ONE screw in the blinker cover.
pull it from the connector.
twist out the black cover around the bulb.
twist out the bulb.
replace with new bulb and i think the rest is pretty obvious!
