'low coolant light' flashes all the time and then 'service engine soon'

These problems may or may not be related. The Check coolant light means that the coolant level in your radiator is low. I did have a problem on one of these cars one time where the Check Engine light was coming on and there were several codes for the Throttle Position Sensor(TPS) and the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor and the car ran really bad. The Check Coolant light was also on. After checking it out I found that the coolant level sensor was shorting out the 5 volt reference circuit (VREF) from the computer and causing the whole problem. Replacing the coolant level sensor fixed the car.
