You need the fault code read with a scan tool, then based on that you do the correct fault code diagnostics to arrive at the needed repair. This requires a trip to the dealer on this car.
Wow, you have a good one there. Try to find if the fuel is shut off or the spark is shut off. That may give you a chance to find why its doing that. Essentially check for spark, if you have spark then you know its a fuel issue. Then check where the fuel pump is loosing power.
check and bleed air from the fuel system. check for fuel level in the tank. run the fault codes to check for cam/crank position sensors and broken timing belt.
There is a service bulletin on this for some Chevy trucks, may include your model of car. I would check with Chevy to be sure. The code means the computer has received a reading from the throttle position sensor that is out of range and not what it should be. The throttle actuator control module would need to be tested to proceed.
