I recently purchased a used honda accord 2003 ex with 6 cd loader and navigation. I have not been able to make use of the cd player because there sems to be a code error. I have contacted honda america and I have been given the 5 digit radio code. However when i try to key in the 4th digit, it displays an ERR 1 message. when i subsequently tried, it gave an ERR 2 message. At this point, i have stopped and require further assistance to enable me unlock and make use of the system. Thanks

is there power to the cd changer possible fuse is the head unit connected to the changer check wiring is there a jamed cd in changer try disconnecting battery and reattach to reset unit if all this fails the unit is goosed
If you're getting power to the CD player then there's power to the radio. The antenna involves the grid on the rear window, an antenna coil and cable to the radio. You can check the grid for a break and if it's small you're auto parts store will have a repair kit. My 05 Accord rear window defogger did not work and it took Honda 2 attempts to repair it. Other than checking the grid I would bring it to the dealer.
I have a 2002 honda accord with the 6 disc cd changer. I beleve the cd changer has jamed and have lost power to the CD player. When I press the CD button it wont recognise the player. Any suggestions
Hi, it could be that the screen is in the off position, press daylight/night button twice. From what I've read in other forums pressing that button twice turns the sat nav screen off. Buying an updated DVD will not solve the problem. you can also try a dvd cleaner.
Your lucky if your progress bar has fully loaded up. Mine hung up with about 2% and will not respond in any way now, I have to send it away to Alpine for fixing. Hope this helps
i advise takeing it to ur local honda dealer... if u are useing copied cds make sure u dont tell them that, they most likely will order u a new unit if under warranty still or under a honda care contract
