You could have a shop check pump pressure - usually the cause is a weak pump or problems with the valve body. Chances are if you just sit in drive at idle, it will also move on its own in a couple of minutes once the fluid warms up. I never recommend changing fluid after 100k.
Was motor still running. If you move to N and back to drive trans may not kick in if moving slow you need to stop. Next I reground motor by adding cable from battery ground back to motor mount bolt. The frame cable may be bad. Next time see if battery ground post is hot. If so reground. You may need a new valve body OEM. not a rebuild from transmission shop. O this is not Transmission. They told me to many time same thing. Still same Transmission .
The most likely cause is a bad throttle position sensor (TPS). It's located on the throttle body. With the engine idling, grab the connector on it and move it up and down. If the idle fluctuates it is for sure bad. Otherwise you will need a scanner to properly diagnose your problem.
Thinking a motor mount, try this .Open the hood, then start it ,you should be able to see the engine from the drivers seat,at least a little.Put in reverse and then drive ,if the engine rocks more one way then the other it needs a mount changed. The mounts let the motor move maybe 1/2 an inch,if it moves much more things start to make contact, like the exhaust pipe and the body, making a rumble.
Low fluid , very common symptom. have the fluid checked NOW! you will do damage if you keep driving. Has no dipstick, there are two plugs in the pan . The lower is for draining the upper is for checking and filling. Fluid mudt stream out with engine idling in park.If symptoms continue after filling you have burned up the forward band. Good Luck.
This sounds like a valve body spool is hhanging up. It's that block you see bolted to the belly inside the trans. Check the vacuum modulator vacuum hose for vacuum or leakage.
Either the linkage needs adjustment, or the reverse gear is gone.
To tell if it is the linkage, look at the letters and see if the shift arrow matches up P,R,N,D,2,1
If the arrow is off and doesn't point at right letter, you should adjust the cable that goes from shifter to tranny. Follow the cable and there will be an aduster on it. Turn to right to tighten and left to loosen.
disconnect the vapor seperator hose from throttle body.remove belt from pulley and bolts you can see from above.take off right tire and splash shield.take off return line and drain.remove pressure line and lower mounting bolts&nuts.move the pump toward the firewall and remove adjustment bkt.rotate pump clockwise until pulley faces rear of vehicle.pullout of engine compartment.reverse order replacing O-ring on pressure line.tighten bolts to 30ft.lbs. fill reservoir with wheels turned fully to the left.start engine and fill to proper level.bleed by turning wheels side to side without hitting stops.refill as nessary without overfilling, let car run for 2 minutes with wheels straght ahead before test driving.
