Without knowing what the noise sounds like, your best bet would be loose items actually in the glove box, or something in the heating system, like a weak valve fluttering. Does it make a difference if you have the heater or a/c on or off? Does it matter if the fan is on or off? Do you hear it sitting still or moving? These are all questions that need to be answered in order to track it down. It is usually fairly simple to remove the glove box itself and locate where the sound is coming from.

Knocking in the glove box

You most likely have a bad HVAC blend door actuator. When they fail, the gears over run themselves and give you that kind of noise. What you can do is remove the glove box liner and see if you can get your hand onto the actuator, and you should be able to feel the clicking through the body if that is where it's coming from.

What could this noise be

I am assuming the noise happens with the key switch on or the engine running.
It could be a relay or one of the blend doors for the HVAC. You'll have to get behind the glovebox to find the source.

Hi i hear a ticking coming from behind the glove box, i tried turning every thing off, it still ticks till i turn the car off

It may be the heater blower fan. It is always on when the car is running. I'm pretty sure the blower is under/behind the glove box.
Does the ticking noise change when you speed-up or slow the fan speed? If so, there may be a leaf or something stuck in the fan blades. You might have to have the blower motor removed to get it cleaned out.
Hope this helps...

Vent Control Noise Behind Glove Box

The noise is coming from the blend door motors.
All of the climate control doors (vents, defroster, temperature, recirculation etc) are controlled by electronic motors. As the motors age they tend to make a buzzing noise when they move.

There is a software upgrade that is available to minimize the noise, but it will always make the noise to some degree.

Hope this helps.

Air comes out of glove box

Get a strong torch lay on your back and look up into the area where the front air vent comes into your car

The main air duct has come away from the inlet and is allowing the cold air to enter the car while starving the heater and fans of the normal air flow

Did someone do a repair to the heater matrix or the loom recently.

You may have to take out the glove box to see where the pipes should be joined to
