Sounds like the wires inside the harness between the door jam are broken from cracking in the cold and opening and closing the door. push the rubber boot back or cut it off if you like and inspect the wires.

there will be two bolt that are hidden under your arm rest they will probably be hidden little caps that just pop off most likely a star screwdriver you will need a window handle remover tool if you have power windows dont worry about it but you will also need a door panel clip remover tool or you can get by with a screwdriver covered in a cloth insert at bottem of the door an gently pry untill the door clip start to pop and release you will also need to remove a screw where you open the door from the inside hope you get it off if you break any of the door clips(happens all the time) just take broken one to the dealer or canadian tire or parts jobber hope this helps

SOURCE: Can't figure how to remove right rear door panel on 2001 Pontiac

These are bad about those Cable operated window devices .. If it is bad get on ebay and get one ordered its your best bet.. Just take a flat screwdriver and go around the bottom of the door panel and pop it loose and up the sides .. there might be a hidden screw or two in the middle around the handles.. good luck ..

SOURCE: "Door Ajar" signal on dash panel stays on even when doors are clo

there should be a switch mounted( or more than one) in the door jamb that tells the car when the car door is open...i will probably look like a little plastic plunger...might be broken off or bad internally

SOURCE: 2001 Chevy Impala won't start

If the battery has gone dead, it could cause the security system to go into full lock-up mode. If it has locked up the accessories will work after the battery is charged back up , but the power to the starter will be cut off and it wont turn over. You need to do the 30 minute learn procedure. A GM dealer will print it out for you and you can do it yourself. It's very simple if you follow the procedure exact. hope this helps and good luck.

SOURCE: 1999 Pontiac Montana passenger sliding door stopped working.

Verify the wiring harness which passes under plastic step & carpet at front passenger side. This wiring harness goes from the firewall to the pillar on the right side and some have crimped connectors in them to act as junction between two or more wires (ususlly the 12volt feed), which deteriorate with time, especially with Salt & Water. Then the electric sliding door stops working and even driver the electric seat can loose power.

Car wont stay Running,Door wont Lock-Unlock, Radio dont work and Trunk Pop don't work

It appears that you have an electrical short somewhere. If you are mechanically inclined and have hours of time and electrical knowledge, good luck! Sometimes these problems can be easily found where the wiring harness runs through the firewall from the fuse panel under the dash to the engine compartment relay box. Vibrations of the engine over time on a vehicle over 10 years old will chafe the wires over time on places where the wires lay over body frame components. Also heat and time on a cars wiring harness over a decade can damage wiring in the engine compartment or along exhaust manifold underneath. Try looking in those places for visible damage before tearing out all the interior or dash.

Same issue no radio, windows, locks but dash board electric works

Try unhooking the battery, turn key on, leave door open, then connect battery, start engine immediately. The battery saver module thinks it's saving your power!!

Replace the blower motor resistor. With all these electrical problems poping up , I hope there is nothing causing this

Power windows, wipers, and lights don't work.

I think your problem is the electric control module. its a little black box under the dash that controls the head lights and parklights and interior lights. your doors have a switch by the door latch, when you open the door. use a screw drive to lock the door with out closing it . then see if the fuse still pops. if it does yous problem is the latch itself

Electrical problem

I just had the same issues. No headlights, interior lights, power door locks, radio controls on steering wheel, or dash lights. Pulled every fuse in cab and under hood, not a one was bad. I disconnected the battery terminals for a few minutes. When I reconnected them every thing was working.
