Had the same prob. with door locked, diagnosis $110.00 per hr. I called General Manager of dealership and he said he will cover it under a "Goodwill Warranty" As it happens, it only took them 15 minutes by putting a device down inside lock ( like the car thiefs do) and then lubricating the lock.

Have someone pull the handle from inside and you pull the handle from outside at the same time, door will get open.
then lubricate the hinge and latch.

I have the same problem, the only way i have gotten the door to open is to start the car, put it in reverse, then put it in park, get out lock the doors with the remote, hit the button a second time and make the horn beep. then hit the button once and hit the button again to unlock back doors. lol
believe it or not that is how i resolve the problem. what i cant figure out is what is causing it. is your onstar expired? mine just expired and i was wondering if that had something to do with it.....please email if you have found a solution, as the dealership wont do anything unless they can duplicate the [email protected]
My 2006 Saturn Vue has the same problem with the drivers side door. Sometimes won't open from the inside or outside and/or won't even close. Safety hazard in my opinion. Sprayed the door latch with silicon and that freed it up for 10 months, but now it's happening again. Brought to dealer under warranty 10 months ago, but they could'nt replicate problem, even over the 3 days while I drove around the rental they gave me. When I picked up the car I replicated the problem within 30 seconds. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE TO SATURN OF WHITE PLAINS FOR ANYTHING BUT OIL CHANGES. THEY ARE IDIOTS. GM will be bankrupt soon so we'll all be on own anyway.
My 2006 Saturn Vue drivers door is stuck closed and wont open from inside or outside. I took it to the local dealership and they said the only way to fix the latch was to rip off the door panel. Total cost 735 dollars. They said if I can get the door open myself, the cost for latch and labor would be 230 dollars, minus the 85 dollar diagnostic fee I've already paid. Any suggestions?
My daughter has same problem with driver side rear door on her 2005 Saturn Vue. My husband was able to remove the door panel. Could not find what was causing problem. Door still won't open. Dealer wants $100 to run diagnostics. Anyone find a solution for this?
We own a 2006 Saturn Vue Redline. We have had problems with the front passenger and back passenger doors NOT opening, and now the back driver's side door will not stay latched. Very frustrating issue especially since we would like to stay loyal to GM vehicles. We have had the problem fixed previously and they just lubed up the door, but the problem has come back and now affecting 2 of my doors!!! Very irritating!!
I have the same problem, I am pretty sure the inside linkage is no longer connected.
I also have a 2006 Saturn Vue with front passenger door permanently locked yet all auto lock mechanisims work. Cannot open from inside or out. Dealership asking for $110.00 to diagnose. Any solutions?
I have a 2003 Vue and my driver's side back door has stopped opening. It did this a couple of times and I was able to lock and unlock it a few times to get it to open. Now it refuses to open at all.
