While driving my 02 millenia its shuts of then after a minute or so it will crank back up...i can drive it several miles and it cranks back up again. I had it hooked to a computer and it gave four codes: p1521, p0740, p0421, & p0300. I have had a rotor button, a distributor cap, and a new fuel filter put on the car...still doing the same thing. I know that the p0300 is misfire code, p0421 is 02 sensor code, and the p1521 is the vris solenoid code...not sure what the p0740 code is...please help at a loss right now and need expert advice

the evap can simply be the gaz cap the 300 check for a good spark you may need wire and plug be carefull for those coil they offent defect good luck pierre

go to this site it has all the info you need (www.obd-codes.com/p0421) or put p0300 on the end for the other code, but basically the first code means your catalytic converter is not working properly (not a big deal) and the second code means you had a random misfire in the engine, the site i gave explains all and tells you how to fix the problem hope i helped

I have a 2005 chevy suburban and it's getting a p0300 code. I replaced the plugs and wires and still have the same problem . It runs rough at idle in gear. What should I check?
