Check that the temp sender wire is not shorting out on the engine as that will make the gauge read hot. Replace the sender unit as they can change resistance over time and read wrong.

Looks like you replaced the water pump with a defective one

these only have one cooler located in the rad from the factory.if you have installed a aftermarket cooler it will be fastened to the front of the rad in the air flow which won`t affect the ordering of a new radiator.

It should be in a fuse box under the hood. its about 1 inch square.

If you look at the side were the belt is at you will see a tensioner take a rench that will fit and move the tensiiner up and presto the belt is off.

1994 Cutlass Ciera has the fuel pump located in the fuel tank. 1996 and later units could be removed via removing the back seat and an access cover but your year requires the tank be removed to replace the fuel pump.

I don't believe it will. in 1988, the industry standard freon was R-12. around 93, all GMs were switched over to R-134A. R-12 connectors, charge ports, and even seal tolerances are very different, so an R-134A compressor cannot hook into an R-12 system. You would be better off trying to find another compressor from an 88. I hope that helps.

make sure you have used the same ign key with the same resistor pellet. the ign lock cylinder has 2 wires that are connected to it and one may have broken not allowing the car to start.
