It is usually a ABS wheel speed sensor has gone faulty, but you would have to have electronic diagnostic done to read off a fault code (DTC) and maybe a live data scan . Hope this helps
Sounds like you have a speed sensor problem. Possibly input or output shaft speed sensor on transmission. You will need to find out what fault codes are being set and proceed from there.
All you have to do after replacing the battery and the bas/esp light comes on is drive the vehicle. While your driving around is will allow the steering angle sensor to relearn. That's only if it says "bas/esp see owners manual" displayed on the cluster.
I think you mean ESP light on not the epc, first check you front and rear tires must be different sises tires fitted in to the car if not psiblly faulty one of wheel speed sensor, is this information helped you?
i own m b 270 class e.i start ,i go for about 100 or 150 mets then my car lose the power.i remove the key & restart ,again the same problem,if some on can help me
you will need to have the em computer reset at a dealer.disconnecting battery same as fault foundby computer i.e. no power from sensor(s)as a matter of interest abs/esp work from same sensors.....
you need a Brake safety switch replaced. This is located behind you brake pedal.it's a common problem. The warning lights will reset after a few engine starts.
With the key in position 1, hit the odometer reset button on the left on the cluster 3 times in a row. The cluster should beep once. scroll through the multifunction display with the page buttons until the display shows the onboard voltage screen. It will say something like "UB: 12.2 V" scroll threw this menu with with the up/down until you reach the "service menu" page. scroll down to "confirmation" press +, confirm full service with +. Wait till it says service confirmed. cycle the key off and then back on to position 2. Scroll to the normal service menu where it normally says how many days or miles till next service. If the service was reset correctly, it will say "service display not possible" for a few minutes while it recalculates. You must cycle the key off and back on before it will back out of the onboard diagnostic mode. If you dont back out, the esp/abs/bas lights will illuminate when the car is started
Most likely cause is the 'stop lamp switch'
It is a electric switch located on the brake pedal inside the car, about half way up on the brake pedal.
Pretty cheap too, I think the switch is only like $25 bucks.
2 connectors on the switch and then it turns out.
hope that helps
