Hello and help, I need the main bearing, big end and flywheel torque settings for an Isuzu 3.1 td 1997, my manual only seems to have v6 petrol engines in it for some reason. many thanks Ron Jowett www.lovelightromania.com

Is this vehicle manufactured in the US? My database only covers vehicles sold in the US. Didn't show 2.2L engine size for 010 ranger, it showed 2.0--2.3 and 2.5. sorry.

Main bearings Stage 1 34-38 Nm Main bearings Stage 2 68-76 Nm Big end bearings Stage 1 26-29 Nm Big end bearings Stage 2 53-59 Nm

29lbs....for both main bearing cap AND side bolt..

Toyota Yaris Main and Big end Torque settings:
Tighten the main and big end bolts in sequential order and in two steps.
Main bearings. Stage 1.
22 ft lbs.
Stage 2.
44 ft lbs

Big end bearings.
Stage 1.
11 ft lbs.
Then Rotate bolt head a further by 90 degrees

Head bolt torque must be done in 3 steps:
1st 22 ft lbs
2nd 43 ft lbs
final 47 ft lbs
use this sequence of tightening:
9 - 3 -1 -6 -8
7 - 5 - 2 -4 - 10

Flywheel spec:
65 ft lbs

Cylinder head bolts:
Tighten the cylinder head bolts in criss cross manner inside out, in four stages as under:
Stage 1. Torque the bolts up to 17 Nm.
Stage 2. 34 Nm.
Stage 3. Rotate all the bolts 90 degrees.
Stage 4. Finally rotate all the bolts further 90 degrees.

Main Bearings:
Tighten the main bearing bolts in two stages, as under:
Stage 1. 61 Nm.
Stage 2. Rotate the bolts further 90 degrees.

Big end bearings:
Tighten the big end bolt of connecting rods in two stages as under:
Stage 1. 25 Nm.
Stage 2. Rotate the bolts further 90 degrees.

V6 colt bakkie big ends bearing torque settings

Crankshaft torque settings for 2002 Audi TT 225 BHP:

1. Main bearings: Renew bolts = Yes
2. Main bearings: Stage 1 = 65 Nm
3. Main bearings: Stage 2 = 90 degrees
4. Big end bearings: Renew bolts / nuts = Yes
5. Big end bearings: Stage 1 = 30 Nm
6. Big end bearings: Stage 2 = 90 degrees
7. Flywheel / driveplate = 60 Nm + 90 degrees (use new bolts / nuts)
8. Crankshaft pulley / damper centre bolt = 90 Nm + 90 degrees (use new bolts)

Main bearings - stage 1-80 Nm; stage 2-100Nm.Big ends-stage 1-22Nm,stage 2 -45Nm.Flywheel/drive plate-55Nm.Crankshaft puley-120Nm.Cil.head as main bearings.Valve clearance - cold - inlet-0.15 , exhaust - 0.25. Timing 6/800 at sea level.Good luck!

Mains Stage 2 167nm

Big ends Stage 1 29nm
Big ends Stage 2 45 - 60 degrees
